The School of Visual Theatre is part of the international community and welcomes students from all over the world.
Each year several international students take part in the Schools's studies as exchange students, as well as several international students who enroll in the full four year programe
School lessons are taught in Hebrew and English with translation if neccesary.
International students who wish to enroll in the full four year program:
Admissions Process - The application and admission process for students from abroad who wish to study the in the full four year program is the same application process as Israeli applicants.
1. Enter and complete registration form and fufill all the requests specified there.
2. following the sending of the registration form via the website, the school will contact you through email or phone to explain the audition and interview acceptance procedure.
The School recognizes that foreign students can not always be present in Israel for the auditions and personal interviews. In such cases, in coordination with the school, the student will be asked to submit materials by email, and those constitute grounds for determining acceptance!
Exchange students - students studying abroad who wish to spend a semester as a student at The School of Visual Theatre:
Admissions process: First of all verify that the school in which you are currently studying has an exchange agreement with the School of Visual Theatre. (for a list of such schools click here)
But even if not, there's always the option to contact your school administration and offer them to initiate such an agreement.
Once the existence of an agreement is established, the interested student must please send an email to the producer of the school: firstname.lastname@example.org
In the mail:
Introduce yourself in a few words and specify which school you are currently studying in and your main fields of interest.
Attach: a CV, a letter of motivation, a letter of recommendation from a teacher at the school where you study, and samples of your work.
In all cases of acceptance please note that all students who come to Israel must independently apply for and recieve their visas in their home country before their arrival, as well as take care of all practical aspects of their stay in Israel as pertains housing and finances.
