After completing her choreographic studies in Exerce in Montpellier, a graduate of the school Anat Bosak, will perform a solo piece, developed during her studies, in a new adaptation made for the conference.
As a student in France, Anat created in a foreign environment and in a language she could barely speak. This inability to express herself freely drove her to attempt at expressing herself through other languages: movement and dance, construction and sculpture, drumming and singing. In her work UNdEr STANdING, Anat talks about the things that words cannot express. Using a personal story, she crafts a world of movement and material to tell the story while sharing with the audience her inability to speak it, the repression, the limits of language and the powerful feelings that defy spoken language.
