In 2021, the School of Visual Theatre will move to its new seat in the Arts Campus that is currently being built by the City of Jerusalem. The building is located at the intersection of Bezalel and Yosef Trumpeldor streets, in the city center near the Gerard Bachar Centre and Bezalel architecture department.
The new 3-story building will include: a black box theatre, open rooftop, dance studios and work spaces, material workshops, computer rooms, sound and editing studios, and classrooms.
This is a significant move in the history of the school, which for over thirty years has been located in the Talpiot industrial area. The move entails new possibilities and opportunities for the school, and new initiatives for the community of artists and alumni in the field of performance, dance, and interdisciplinary art.
Jerusalem Campus for the Arts being built through partnership of The Jerusalem Foundation, UJA Federation of NY, Eden Company and the Jerusalem municipality.
