• Academic track (4-year program)
  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Teacher Certificate
  • A joint program of the School of Visual Theatre and the David Yellin College of Education

The School of Visual Theatre, in collaboration with the David Yellin College of Education in Jerusalem, allows students to enroll in the academic program for an undergraduate degree in art education (Elementary School Education Track in the Arts - Combining Arts into Education Department).

This program is open to students who meet the college's admission requirements and is subject to the college’s decision.

The track consists of the regular SVT curriculum in conjunction with a complementary curriculum at David Yellin College.

During the four years of study at the School of Visual Theatre, and in addition to the basic curriculum, the students will also attend the David Yellin College from the second year of study until the end of their academic duties as required.

The joint program earns its graduates a graduate certificate from the School of Visual Theatre as well as a B.Ed. and a teacher certificate.

It should be emphasized that in order to obtain a teaching license from the Ministry of Education, graduates will have to work in the education system for at least one third position and attend a practical workshop (internship) at the college.

Tuition and Registration Fees in the Academic Program

In addition to SVT registration process and tuition fees, students will be required to enroll as students at the David Yellin College of Education (including full registration process and payment of the college registration fees).

Payment to the David Yellin College of Education will be determined by the number of academic hours the student studies at the college and the college’s standard tuition fees.
