Amongst other things, as part of the Israel Festival, Giuli established and curated various platforms such as “Institutional Routine”, “Home-Spirit-Hospitality” and “Distillation – all intended to unite community and art. “This is a time to reopen the contract, examine the clauses which define the connection between art, society, and community, as we are facing new questions and circumstances. Does art affect the lives of the communities in which she is created? Is it relevant to the general public? Did we fall unreasonably in love – us, the artists – with our own reflection? Can we contemplate together about ways to think and act, in which art would propose a close touch, a sharing glance, and perhaps, a healing? And maybe it could succeed in creating a space of containment, which can resound throughout the body and soul, social and personal alike? Can art exist in society’s everyday life? As a profound, vital essence?”
