“I stepped out of my living room window to photograph the landscape. 15 August 2019 the forests of the Judean hills – around Zuba, Givat Yearim, and Ramat Raziel – were burnt to the ground. 13,000 dunams. This is the forest under my window. I was able to go down to the forest and the warehouse on its edge only some six months later. Walking in a ghost landscape that I once visited daily. I took photographs. Comforted by the silvery beauty that appeared on the camera screen. Shocked by the maternal closeness I found in the black female-like bared openings”.
In collaboration with Amit Mann.
The exhibition is on display 6th-8th of December, from 19:00 and throughout the evening. Entrance is free.
