Beneath False Lights She Crumbles
Beneath False Lights She Crumbles
The work moves between physical and emotional states: between control and confusion, between confidence and vulnerability.
The transitions between those states occur sometimes suddenly, sometimes gradually, causing a sense of inner rupture.
The piece unfolds through separate yet interconnected spaces: between inside and outside, origin and reflection, body and image. In this in-between, water appears, both as material and metaphor. It seeps in, destabilizes, floods, and blurs boundaries.
Using movement and visual imagery, a process of inquiry transpires —inquiry into the body, into femininity, and into the tension between self-expression and daily function.
The work seeks to dwell in liminal spaces — where things almost touch, but remain estranged.
