Things that are seen better in the dark

A pseudo-mystical, anarcho-mythological performance. A ritual held on a moonless night, in order to see something that moves so quickly – that honestly, I’m not entirely sure I saw it – yet at the same time, I know exactly what I saw, and I can’t get it out of my head.

Itamar Banai is a multidisciplinary artist and graduate of the School of Visual Theater. In his works rooted in text, speech, and body, Banai seeks to explore the mystical and the esoteric, the mythological and the archetypal, regarding art as a central tool in the evolution of human consciousness.
