Maya Levy
Maya Levy was a dancer in Liat Dror and Nir Ben Gal’s group (1999-2000) and became part of the group that founded “Adama” dance studio in the Mitzpe Ramon desert. She is a graduate of the School of Visual Theater, teaching there from 2006 on. The course offers a vantage point on the kinetic and physical dimensions of the artistic act across diverse mediums.
Studio practice will center primarily on physical work and varied exercises that cultivate observation, active listening, pausing, and the identification of connections and contexts between different facets of the “creative self.”
The approach and mentorship are personal, designed to support each student in getting closer to themselves and their emerging artistic language.
