Omer Alsheich

Production and project manager of the Yasmeen Godder Company since the end of 2017. Responsible for planning new productions, international tours, content management and archiving, the company’s website and more. Also stage manager for all other productions in the company’s repertoire. Original productions he has produced include Mefagina Ifuk (2018), With Open Eyes (2018), Practicing Empathy #1 (2019), I’m Here (2020), Practicing Empathy #2 on 2 (2020), Practicing Empathy #3 (2021), S.O.S. – Songs of Sequence, and Love Music (Now!) (2024). He is one of the in-house producers of the Makudeshet Festival in Jerusalem during the cultural season, with works including Tuk-Tuk (2015), Confessions (2016), Assumption (2017), Running in the Sea (2018), and Festival Behind a Festival (2019). He also produces independent artists and serves as a consultant for artists at IB – the Independent Creators Organization in Theater and Performance – specializing in applications to the National Lottery, foundations, grants and more. He was a production mentor for students’ final projects at Sapir College in 2019.

 

The workshop consists of three lessons on “Life After Studies” or “I’ve finished my studies, what now? Let’s talk about it.”

The workshop focuses on professional life in the performing arts field, fundraising, foundations, grants, and funding sources for independent creation, governmental support bodies, self-marketing, budgeting (income and expenses), and learning tools for self-management and production.
