Amit Drori
Amit Drori, artistic director and CEO of HaZira, is a director and set designer. A graduate of the School of Visual Theater (2001), he has been teaching at the school since 2006. He received the Rosenblum Award in 2010. In his works, Drori creates intensive and poetic live performances based on human performers alongside robotic objects, built by Drori and his team, each uniquely crafted by hand. His work blurs the boundaries between theater, performance, and installation. His creations have gained recognition both in Israel and internationally, with presentations in over 20 countries. Drori's works are based on long-term development processes and international collaborations.
For whom do open calls toll? How is the Ministry of Culture structured, and why does it matter? How can one avoid panic at the sight of terms like “balance sheet” and “unforeseen expenses”? And what does any of this have to do with friendship, loyalty, and justice?
Fox in the Arsenal is an orientation course and a survival kit for the professional sphere. Led by Amit Drori, the course will host diverse guest speakers who will share their firsthand experiences, contributing to a rich and (hopefully) optimistic story about growing and making art within the Israeli context.
