Bosmat Nossan
Bosmat Nossan (b. 1984) is a choreographer and dancer. In her works, she is drawn to the unnatural, exaggerated, and stylistic, drawing inspiration from science fiction, comics, and surrealist art. A former dancer with the Batsheva Dance Company and the Inbal Pinto and Avshalom Pollak Dance Company, she has presented works by Ohad Naharin with dance companies worldwide and currently directs the teacher training program in Gaga. Her works have been featured in various international festivals and dance events in Europe and the United States.
Each class is divided into two parts. The first part will focus on physical work — warming up the body, developing movement abilities such as balancing tension and relaxation, isolating different body parts and improving coordination, exertion, expanding range of motion, cultivating nuances in working with the body and movement, experimenting with different dynamics of speed and force, strengthening the connection between intention and execution, and deepening sensory awareness.
The second part will involve movement work within proposals and projects presented by the students, with the entire class participating and physically engaging in the various ideas brought forward in these presentations.
