Triptych for A Woman and A Dog – Premiere

Pre-Premiere

The term “Triptych” – implying a division into three images and a relationship between them – serves me as a basis for the reflection on reality, where partition and wholeness co-exist. A whole that is constantly under the threat of collapsing into its separate components; components who are called to unify into a whole. In this Dance-Performance piece there are two figures: A woman, and a female dog. The two perform a three-fold image of the playfulness of separation and togetherness, and go on adventures.

This is a work-in-progress, created as a graduation piece from the Master’s Degree program in Dance and Choreography at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
