Lior Pinsky

Lior Pinsky is a creator of experimental electronic music, ambient, field recordings, and collages. He creates music for stage productions and installations, and deals with electronic mechanisms.

“Two monks came to the place of Zen Master Joshu.

Joshu asked the first one: Have you been here before?
The monk replied: I have not.
Joshu said: Go and have a cup of tea.

Then he asked the second monk: Have you been here before?
The monk replied: I have.
Joshu said: Go and have a cup of tea.

The head monk said to Joshu: You sent the monk who had not been here before to have a cup of tea. About that, I have nothing to say. But why did you send the monk who had already been here to have a cup of tea?

Joshu called out: Head monk!
The head monk replied: Yes!
Joshu said: Go and have a cup of tea.”
