Tami Leibovitz
Tami Leibovitz is a choreographer, dancer, teacher, and costume designer. Her works explore the living body in the intersections of dance, performance, and visual art. She graduated from the School of Visual Theater in 2007, completed the two-year program for choreography at Seminar HaKibbutzim in 2011, and holds a bachelor's degree and teaching certificate from the Department of Movement and Dance at Seminar Hakibbutzim (2014). Her works have been presented on major stages in Israel and internationally. Leibovitz collaborates extensively with the artist Guy Gutman and serves as the artistic director of the choreography program at "Kelim."
In this course, participants will learn choreography: movements, sequences of moves. Through physical learning, we will explore basic concepts such as momentum, weight, measure, gait, and musicality. The course will include student presentations.
