A practical course in visual art dedicated to exploring the sources of creation — both the art we make and the art we observe.

Throughout the course, we will work in drawing, printmaking, sculpture, and multidisciplinary exercises, with the goal of developing a conscious and profound approach to artistic practice. We will investigate various ways of entering the creative process: What drives us? How do we observe a work of art? What is the role of consciousness versus the body?

We will practice planning versus intuition, engage in discussions about our works, and situate them within broader contexts of time, culture, and history. The course aims to provide broad tools that can also be applied in related fields such as performance and stage work. It is based on hands-on experience, homework exercises, shared readings, and presentations.
