Yonatan Levy
Yonatan Levy, born in 1974 and a resident of Kiryat Tivon, is a playwright, director, teacher, and social entrepreneur. Among his works are "Saddam Hussein", “Raful and the Sea”, “Nephilim”, and more. He is the co-founder of the Shakked Waldorf High School, the Sheikh Abreik Festival for Civil Culture, the Educational Program for Art and Society at Haratiya and The Mill at Sha’ar Ha’amakim.
In this course, we will explore various writing practices. For example, we will investigate the performative aspects of texts, and their relation to music, ritual and magic. In the second semester, we will hold a celebratory weekend at the Mill, in Shaar Ha’amakim Kibbutz.
