At the center of the gallery are sculptures that have undergone aggressive manipulation in order to store  within them gentle gestures. The childlike desire to strip objects of their skin and discover what exists beneath their protective layer gave rise to practices of dissection and cutting. Accordingly, the familiar piece of furniture becomes a living-dead creature, composed of layers of medical procedures and fragmented memories.

Alongside and within them, painted canvases and soft analog photographs serve as temporary padding for bare planks, while thin, transparent prints depict fragile relationships hanging by a thread, through line and stain.

The installation of the works in the space acts as a choreographic tool: the eye is invited to wander between corners and crevices, to peek into hidden shelves, and to discover which actions left a mark upon the material. Between the body of work and the moving body, one might perhaps sense different kinds of stability, unique connections between heaviness and lightness.
