Tornado tracks / Three inches above the floor
Bodies and objects, fragments of sound, and remnants of actions are woven into a vortex, maintaining loose relationships – unstable encounters. In an alienated choreographic landscape composed of urban remnants and materials, the performers move between abstract randomness and physical collapse. Through movements of friction, repetition, exhaustion, and ongoing struggle, the stage functions as a disassembled field of simultaneous forces – gentleness and violence, erosion and intimacy, proximity and distance.
Out of a state of observation, disaster, and collective tension, the work offers a perspective on the body that continues to function and operate within chronic instability. As the familiar and the everyday swirl and lose their grip, the vitality of existence is revealed in the small details: in the architecture of distances, in the rhythm of the street, in a gaze.
