“We are here in our bodies, in our presence, practicing. Each time is different from the previous, surrender is necessary”.

The work “Lovingly Not Knowing” is a dance-performance piece based on the action of a flock, learning itself through an extended creative process. Through the practice of Flocking, a unified movement is enabled, performed by each individual in a unique way and led by an unknown leader.

“The unit that we are influences the many that we are; we are dedicated to listening and to movement, and we discover the resemblance and the unity in our bodies. The echoes of the movement will reverberate into the distance, and we won’t know; the tremor of tectonic plates will be heard, and we won’t know; for a moment, I will look in your eyes, we will move and breathe, and we won’t know; and then we will realize that we are here, and we will know it very strongly”.
